Nicole Bottino, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Nicole Bottino is a Certified Physician Assistant specializing in pediatric orthopedic surgery. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine from Northeastern University, and completed her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Seton Hall University. She graduated from Seton Hall with honors, and received the highest score in the nation on her Physician Assistant Board Certification Examination. With over 10 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, she functions as an integral part of the patient care team. Her special interests include sports medicine and trauma.

Nicole competed in Division 1 soccer at the collegiate level as a member of Northeastern University’s soccer team. This experience offers her a unique perspective when caring for young athletes. As a mother herself, she understands the importance of taking care of children, and considers it an honor and a privilege to do so.

Prior to her position with Preferred Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery, Nicole was the Chief Physician Assistant in Orthopedic Surgery at the world-renowned Boston Children’s Hospital. Nicole continues to play an active role in Physician Associate governance at the national level where she serves as one of five Physician Assistants representing the state of New Jersey in the American Academy of Physician Associates’ House of Delegates. She also serves as the President of the Morristown Medical Center Physician Assistant Counsel. She is frequently invited to speak on the latest diagnosis and management of pediatric orthopedic and sports medicine conditions. She is a lecturer in orthopedics, and a member of the Physician Assistant Education Advisory Committee at Seton Hall University.

Nicole lives in northern New Jersey. She loves spending time with her family. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her kids, running, biking, and doing yoga.
